Welcome to the Photo of the Month 2-year anniversary edition! The photos are from my last travel to the cantons of Luzern and Nidwalden, in Switzerland, last November.

Starting with a bike ride near Lake Luzern, or Vierwaldstättersee

Next, a night view of the lake shore in the old town of Luzern, with a highlight to the famous Kapellbrücke - or Chapel Bridge - and the Wasserturm - the water tower. Even with the low resolution, the water mirror is very charming:

Next is from the city of Stans, capital of the Nidwalden canton. To the left, you can see the Dorfplatz - something like village square - and to the right the St. Peter und Paul church:

In the region of Stans, near the St. Klara cloister, we see some trees with red leaves. A couple of frozen water strings make it nicer:

Finally, as a bonus, a peculiar photo I took from a wall in the restaurant inside the old cloister. I don’t know who the author is:
