This is a very special post, because with it we celebrate one year of Photo of the Month! Since half of 2020 I was already thinking what would be the theme for this occasion. I decided to do something related to food, because this is another area I am fond of and consider a hobby.

The post is not about a single meal course, neither a story. It is just a collection of clicks during food preparation, very informal.

The Tomato

The post starts with this small tomato.

It was so beautiful that I even took more pictures. I liked the color contrast between the granite and the tomato.

The next photo is just a replay from the previous one with a retro feel.

The tomato has brothers and sisters!

But with this beautiful peduncle, it is the only one in focus.

Chopped

In the sequence, enjoy the chopped sausages and aspargus.

I don’t know exactly why, but I liked this kind of photography.

Carrots

Shooting the carrots was fun. First, I did a carrot fence.

Then, I prepared the peeled carrot obelisk.

Vegetables

The nicest picture from my point of view is the next one, all others are a bonus but I didn’t like them as much.

What happened with the onion?

Everything chopped in the casserole.

Avocado

There is also an avocado peeling itself out of the shell!

Pastel and sandwich

Enough of natura food, let’s go to the pastel and the sandwich. Starting with a two-floor sandwich with a double fried egg, ham and cheese!

Going to the ham, cheese and oregano pastel.

Thanks to the food for making our days more funnier. And I hope we have another year full of fun and Picture of the Month.
